EditCalc
EditCalc is a new timecode and feet+frames calculator for the iPhone and iPod Touch. I’ve only had a quick look at it, but it seems quite polished, and it handles just about any frame rate or film gauge you can throw at it, including 16mm, 35/3-perf and 70/5-perf.
It does simultaneous conversions while you work — do a calculation in the time, footage or total frame fields and the others update live. It supports a wide range of video frame rates, along with drop and non-drop TC. You can also see a history of previous calculations, so you can check your work. The Avid calculator will do some of the same things, but it’s not as slick or well thought out.

Oh fantastic timing. I’m currently working with animators in a range of frame rates (for the first time in anything other than 25) in FCP, and they measure time purely in frames.
It’s cheap too. Got to be worth a go.

It doesn’t seem as cool as the EditCalc, but Netmedia has a free Timecode Calculator widget for desktop Macs. It’s at http://netmedia.fr.pl/osx/index.html
and I think if you search for timecode calculator among the widgets on the Apple site, you’ll find it too.

Love this app and use it all the time. Only wish is for more customization so I could remove film aspects if I want and the ability to multiply and divide.
This is very handy if I have some shots and I want to evenly space them into a gap of a pre-determined length.
